Ceranamel XT-40S™ is a silicone modified polyester (SMP) that is formulated with a polyester resin that provides resistance to chalking, fading, and weathering. The XT-40S uses a high quality grade and ceramic pigmentation for color and gloss retention and resistance to high UV radiation.

Available in a variety of standard colors and applied to primed metal substrates which include hot dipped galvanized, zinc aluminium alloy steel, (Galvalume®), and aluminum and applied as a two coat system.

Ceranmel XT-40S is ideal for commercial and residential and interior and exterior use.

Ceranmel XT-40S uses infrared (IR) reflective or “cool” pigmanents that comply with energy conservation initiatives such as LEED, Title 24, Energy Star®, and ASHARE and meet requirements for steep and low slope roofing and wall application. “Cool” pigmented coal coatings can help reduce energy consumption for living space and reduce expansion and contraction of panels.
